Easy Assembly
To assemble the jig, or swap hinge templates, simply remove / re-install the two 30mm screws that come with the set, as shown. It takes around 20 seconds to remove one template and install another. The screws can be stored in the 2 extra holes in the fence during transport to avoid losing them.
Innovative Features:
Quick-Grip clamp slots - Integrated slots for Irwin Quick-Grip clamps allow for single handed adjustment. The clamps clip into place securely. So you don't need two pairs of hands to pick everything up.
Cut Depth Gauge - Both templates include upward-facing depth holes, making it fast and convenient to set your hinge mortise depth to either 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm. Holes are marked — just drop it in and go.
Centre Mark - Makes positioning the centre hinge much simpler. Just measure halfway between top and bottom hinge, make a mark on the door or frame edge, line the jig up on the mark, and router it out.
Works on Bare Linings AND Finished Frames - Architrave Already On? Both templates have lugs on the reverse side, which let you position the jig on a finished frame without the fence. Secure with screws or clamps and away you go. The template is 13mm thick, so the slamming strips won't get in the way either!

Got a larger router, or prefer plunge mode? No problem - just use the built-in screw holes to fix the jig in place.
